Singer Whitney Houston died Saturday in Beverly Hills, according to law enforcement sources.
Authorities are trying to determine a cause of death. It’s unclear whether she died at a hotel or in a residence, said the source, who asked to remain anonymous because the investigation is ongoing.
Houston, 48, was in the Los Angeles area for a musical tribute to music executive Clive Davis and had performed and spoken to reporters earlier in the week.

I don’t care if you don’t agree with the patriotism or the way people celebrate or memorialize. I don’t care if you don’t agree with the war. I don’t care what country you live in, what conspiracy theories you believe, or what you think people should be doing. If I see you tell people to get over 9/11 or that people shouldn’t post stuff about it — I will remove you.
I am from NJ and have friends who lost relatives and friends that day, I will not GET OVER IT. Put yourself in someones shoes who lost a loved one that day. What if your mother or brother were taken from you on a day like any other when they got up and went to work. Don’t act so pretentious, that you’re too good to mourn thousands of innocent people. You aren’t smarter than everyone else … you are heartless. And I won’t hesitate to hit the unfollow button.
